1. Agreement

By using heic.imtool.app (“the Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service is a free, browser-based utility that converts HEIC and HEIF photos to JPG. All processing happens locally in your browser; we never receive or store the contents of the files you choose.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You will not:

  • Process files you do not have the legal right to convert or distribute
  • Attempt to overload, disrupt, or circumvent the technical measures that protect the Service or its host infrastructure
  • Use automated tooling to generate excessive requests against pages other than the tool itself (e.g. scraping, load testing without permission)
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or derive source code from the Service beyond what is expressly permitted by applicable law

4. No warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We make no guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the output will always be suitable for your specific use. You are responsible for keeping backups of your original files before processing.

5. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATORS OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use the Service (which is zero).

6. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
